Children at Splatter Art

What is the minimum age for participants?

The minimum age is 3 years old.

Children under the age of 16 require a supervising adult to remain in the studio (Although they do not need to participate in the activity).

Children Aged 3 to 6 years – There is an option to select a ‘Shared Station’ so an adult and young child can create a painting together. The extra £3 surcharge is simply for the Adult PPE such as the poncho and shoe covers to allow you to participate together.

Can I watch without needing to join in?

Absolutely, you are welcome to spectate from our reception area. Alternatively, if you wish to get closer to the action you can pay £3 for spectator access to the studio.

This price is simply to cover the cost of Adult PPE Equipment such as poncho and shoe covers.

Do you provide family packages or family tickets?

We do not provide family packages or family tickets but do have specific options for younger children (aged 3 to 6 years).

For children aged 3 to 6 years, we encourage people to purchase the Adult and Child Shared Station.

For older children just select as many tickets as you need according to the number of people attending and age of participants.

I have booked a session for my 7 year old and wondered if I could remain beside them to help if needed?

Of course. It’s absolutely no problem to be beside your child to help them. If you have booked a ticket for yourself and your child we always place you together so that you can help where required.

If you are not participating in the activity you can purchase a Spectator Pass for £3 which you can buy from the studio on arrival.  This pass includes Adult PPE poncho, shoe covers and shower cap to help protect you and your clothes from paint splatters.

I have booked a session for my children and I, will we be beside each other?

We will always group bookings together where possible. We always group children and adults in the same areas to ensure that families can enjoy their experience together.

We have 4 year old twins - Can they share a station?

I’m afraid we do not permit children to share stations.

You are welcome to purchase one Adult & Under 6 Shared Station and one Child (Under 16) Station, and have only one adult supervise both children at the same time. We would always situate the stations together to ensure that they had a shared experience.
