Our SIP N’ SPLATTER PRIVATE PARTIES are the perfect way to share some laughter whist enjoying an action packed and immersive painting experience.

Whether you are organising a corporate team building session, catching up with old friends or searching for a fun start to your hen party, we’ve got you covered!

SPLATTER ART

MINT PACKAGE UP TO 12 PEOPLE

Time: 1.5 hrs

Exclusivities use of entire studio;

Access to all paint stations in the studio, paint, and tools;

Each participant receives one 16 x 20 inch canvas.

Protective equipment for each participant: poncho, googles, gloves, shoe covers and hairnet;

Custom take home box for each painting;

One large canvas for splatter art / group collaboration, size: 24x30inch.

Guided by one of our Studio employees you will go through the different splatter techniques. Although there will be some guidance and instruction, we want you to get creative.

You will be splatting acrylic paints on canvas. Don’t worry if you’ve never tried these techniques before!

No experience is needed and our activity is perfect for newbies who just want to try something new.

POUR ART

JADE PACKAGE UP TO 12 PEOPLE

Looking for a fun, creative way to bring your team together? Let the ideas (and the paint!) flow with our Jade Package, a private Pour Art experience designed for connection, laughter, and a little creative magic.

Your group will enjoy exclusive use of our Pour Art Studio for a relaxed and inspiring session where everyone gets to create their own fluid art masterpiece.

What to expect:

Duration: 1.5 hours
(60-minute guided activity + 30 minutes of private studio time to relax, socialise, and enjoy your space)

Group size: Up to 12 people

Cost: £504 total (£42 per person)

During the session, each participant will “pour their bear”, choosing three paint colours to create a unique, one-of-a-kind design.

Exclusive use of the pour art studio

One 23 cm bear per person

Three paint bottles per person (60 ml each)

Protective equipment: apron and gloves for everyone

Feel free to bring your own drinks, unwind, and enjoy a creative experience that’s as relaxing as it is memorable.

Please note: Your bears will need time to dry and will be ready for collection 5 days after your session.

How do I book a Private Party?

Who are Private Parties suitable for?

Our Private Splatter Parties make the most memorable and perfect celebration for any occasion! We welcome corporate team building, engagement parties, birthday celebrations, reunions, family get togethers, hen/stag dos and more!

Where do the pour art parties take place?

Our Pour Art and Splatter Art parties take place at our Splatter Art Studio, located at 3 Westgate Road, Newcastle NE1 1SA  right in the heart of the city centre. Join us in our vibrant creative space and get ready to relax, have fun, and let your creativity flow!

Where is the best place to Park?

The best place to park near our Newcastle studio at 3 Westgate Road, NE1 1SA is Times Square Car Park. It’s just a few minutes’ walk away, open 24/7, and is usually one of the easiest and most convenient options in the city centre.

You could also try The Gate Car Park or Q-Park Stowell Street, both within a short walking distance and great if you’re planning to stay in town after your session.

We always recommend allowing a little extra time for parking, especially on weekends or during busy periods.

Are you Wheelchair Accessible?

our Splatter Art Studio is wheelchair accessible at street level, including the reception area and splatter stations.

Please note that our Pour Art Studio is located on the mezzanine level and is not wheelchair accessible, as it is accessed via stairs.

If you have any specific accessibility requirements, please feel free to contact us before booking — we’re always happy to help and make arrangements where possible.

What should I wear?

We recommend that you wear some old clothing that you don’t mind getting messy. Protective gear is supplied as part of your session but it’s a messy activity so paint can find it’s way onto clothing. We recommend dressing mess.

What happens to the bears after the pour art party?

The bears will need to stay in the studio for drying and can be collected 5 days after the class.

Can we BYOB?

Yes, absolutely. We are always BYOB for any private celebration with no corkage fee.

How long does it take for the bear artwork to dry?

Bears need to stay in the studio to dry for approximately a week. You then have an additional two weeks to pick up your artwork. 

Can we bring snacks to the studio?

Yes, we allow snacks in the studio during our private parties. You are more than welcome to bring beverages and snacks.

I noticed you’re closed on Wednesdays. Can we still have our private party on a Wednesday?

We’d be happy to open the studio for private parties. Please email your inquiry to newcastle@splatterartstudio.co.uk to check availability

What’s the maximum number of participants you can accommodate at Pour Art Studio?

Our Pour Art Studio can comfortably accommodate up to 18 participants. For larger groups, we can arrange multiple sessions or coordinate your booking with our Splatter Art Studio, allowing part of your team to do pour art while the other part participates in splatter art. Across these two activities, we can accommodate up to 30 people.

Do participants need any prior art experience?

No prior art experience is required! All of our activities are designed to be accessible and fun for everyone, regardless of artistic ability. Our instructors will guide the team through every step.
